We’re making fitness fun! And this week is a bonus week. I’m asking you to get your dance on. Now, many people don’t see dance as a way to get exercise in. More and more there’s an increase in formalized dance classes. From formal ballroom to salsa to hip hop, dance is really becoming a great and fun way to burn off some calories. Now some of you are inevitably out there saying, "But I can’t dance." It doesn’t matter.
If you don’t feel comfortably enrolling in a dance class, then just turn on the music and bounce around in your home. If you do that for thirty minutes, I guarantee you will burn plenty of calories. But for those of you who are like me and love to dance, I suggest that you plan one dance activity per week. Men, this includes you too; you can have fun with dance as well, if you find a genre that moves you.
So this week, get your dance on.
